GOALS
My vision is to contribute my knowledge and skills to the field of the data industry. I believe when we work in any firm it gives us not only the opportunity to prove ourselves by applying all the technical knowledge and experience which we gained in the journey but also to make a difference to the society. I wish to do my part to make this world a better place, to live by helping organizations leverage the power of data and optimize the processes.
MY STORY
My journey as a data analyst started during Covid-19, when I got suggested to explore another career path apart from teaching maths. Being good with numbers coupled with a technical background (B.Tech), my natural inclination was towards Data Analysis, which led me to explore various options in this field and I came across Google’s Data Analytics certification course. This course helped me gain an in-depth knowledge of a data analyst/scientist role, I learned the power of visualization and witnessed how data plays an important role in decision-making. Data is the new oil and, in a field, as dynamic as Information & Technology it is even more crucial, which is why cleaning, deciphering and visualisation of data is the key.
TOOLS
I have a sound knowledge of data sampling, data cleaning, avoiding biases and visualization. I have done projects which employes various tools like SQL and Microsoft Excel. I feel programming languages like R and Python are the one-stop solution where data can be cleaned and visualized however when it comes to sophisticated visual dashboards, Tableau wins it.
